If you are an experienced Structural Engineer progressing toward Chartered status within the next couple of years we have an opportunity for you to join our team in the Leeds office.

You will bring strong technical capability across a range of building structures and demonstrate the communication skills, initiative, and collaborative mindset needed to thrive in a high-performing team environment.

Key Responsibilities Contribute to the design, analysis, and delivery of building structures across a variety of sectors.

Undertake structural design in steel and reinforced concrete, including multi-storey frames, steel portal frames, and both new-build and refurbishment projects.

Prepare clear, well-structured technical documentation, calculations, and reports.

Collaborate effectively with internal colleagues, external consultants, and clients to ensure coordinated and efficient project delivery.

Support the development of proportionate, safe, and buildable structural solutions.

Engage proactively in project meetings, design reviews, and team discussions.

Contribute to a positive, supportive, and high-performance team culture.

Skills and experience you will have / possess Relevant university degree.

Demonstrable experience in building structures, covering both steel and concrete design.

Strong understanding of UK design codes, standards, and typical industry practice.

Personal Attributes Proactive, organised, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Motivated to achieve Chartered Engineer status (IStruct E or ICE) within the near term.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical issues clearly.

Ability to manage small to medium projects independently with the support provided by the senior members of the team.
