We are expanding our Building Surveying Team within our vibrant London office to build on its ongoing success, working in an award-winning multi-disciplinary consultancy, with a secure pipeline of work. We are seeking a passionate and focused Associate level Building Surveyor who is looking to progress their career, working in a close-knit team. Sectors include public buildings and estates, residential and housing, education, healthcare, commercial and insurance work. You will also be expected to be heavily involved in key client development, financial forecasting, team management and growth.

What you need to do to be effective in this role:
- Hands-on delivery of building surveying services with bias to project work
- Leading projects often co-ordinating our in-house multi-discipline design services
- Client management and development
- Supervising, managing and mentoring junior members of the team
- Technical reviews to manage the quality of our services
The skills and experience you need to have for this role:
- MRICS Consultancy experience, preferably with public sector project experience
- Be commercially minded with an enthusiasm for winning work and business development
- Be able to manage your own workload
- Capable of managing individual team members, organising their work where necessary and providing guidance on projects
- Good communication and client-facing skills
- A positive ‘can-do’ attitude
- Excellent all-round technical building surveying knowledge
- An analytical mind with a high level of intellect - combining excellent written and oral skills to produce considered and robust reports and recommendations
