As part of our continued investment in AI and emerging technologies, we are looking for an AI Engineer to join our growing Technology team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their career who is passionate about applied AI and looking to make a real impact across a multi-disciplinary business.

The Role:

Working closely with our Head of Technology Delivery and wider Technology team, you will support the design, prototyping and implementation of AI-enabled solutions that deliver measurable business value. As Ridge develops its AI strategy and roadmap, you will play an important role in helping to deliver innovative solutions across the business. You will gain exposure to the full lifecycle of AI initiatives, supporting projects that include intelligent automation, Copilot-enabled workflows, advanced analytics and emerging machine learning capabilities. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone curious about new technologies, including AI agents, and comfortable working at both a conceptual and detailed level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support stakeholders in translating business requirements into AI-driven solutions
  • Identify opportunities to apply AI technologies, including Copilot, automation and agentic workflows
  • Assist in the development and testing of AI models, prompts and workflows
  • Evaluate the feasibility and potential impact of AI use cases
  • Support the implementation of AI solutions, including low-code/no-code platforms and Copilot Studio
  • Contribute to building business cases and documenting proposed solutions
  • Work with data to support analysis, model inputs and validation
  • Produce technical documentation, user guidance and support adoption activities
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver successful project outcomes
  • Present findings and outputs in a clear and structured manner

About You:

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in AI and technology, who enjoys problem-solving and bringing ideas to life. You will have:

  • Experience in an AI, data, technology or business analysis role
  • A demonstrable interest in AI technologies, including LLMs and AI agents
  • Exposure to tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, or similar low-code/no-code platforms
  • Basic to intermediate coding skills (e.g. Python) and an understanding of AI/ML concepts
  • Experience exploring or implementing AI use cases, automation or data-driven solutions
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure AI, AWS or similar
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • A collaborative approach, with the ability to work independently where required
  • A proactive mindset, with a willingness to learn and experiment
  • An awareness of responsible AI principles and ethical use of technology
