Ridge House is a family run Care Home providing 24 hour care for 15 elderly residents. We are currently seeking a new Night Care Assistant to join our friendly team providing high quality care to all our residents. We are looking for someone who is passionate, enthusiastic and committed to their role.
Job Description:

Responsibility for supporting the physical and emotional well being of our residents.

Assisting and providing support with personal care such as social interaction, washing, personal hygiene and assisting with food and fluids all whilst encouraging and promoting independence.

Maintaining accurate records during your shifts.

Promoting our residents independence, choice and dignity.
The successful candidate:

Someone who has experience in the care environment is preferable but not essential as full training will be provided, ideally experience working nights (however this is not necessary has full training will be provided).

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a team and also work alone.

Be passionate about providing the best level of care to our residents and to have a positive impact on their lives.
Expected hours:
We will be looking for 2 – 3 nights per week, with occasional additional shifts to cover sickness or holiday.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Permanent
Pay: From £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 36 per week
