Assist with the undertake building surveys, taking particulars on site, attending meetings, writing up specifications, obtaining estimates, planning maintenance programmes, and administering contracts for maintenance work. Support the Building Surveying team on complex multi-disciplinary schemes Help with Analysing and reporting on building defects Support the Building Surveyors with preparing schedules of dilapidations and negotiate settlements Assist with the supervision of building work on site Assisting the Building Surveyors with providing advice on the design
construction, maintenance, repair and refurbishment of all types of property The skills and experience you need to have for this role Relevant degree (RICS approved, 2:1 minimum) Well organised, diligent, and proactive A full driving licence Good IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, AutoCAD, NBS and other software) A team player As a Building Surveyor at Ridge and Partners you will need to demonstrate the desire, drive and a real enthusiasm to becoming a Chartered Building Surveyor which will be fully supported by the company (the national Ridge APC support process) and the local Building Surveying Team. You will need to be personable, presentable and have good communication skills in this client facing role. An ability to produce your own documentation based on our standards is essential, as is an ability to organise, manage your time efficiently in the delivery of the services for multiple projects at any one time.
