We are recruiting a Project Manager to deliver project management services to clients across a variety of industry sectors. Applicants must be experienced project managers in the construction consultancy and be able to apply their skills to a number of sectors including higher education, commercial office and residential developments. You will work on all stages of projects. If you have proven construction project management experience, this role will offer you the opportunity to lead on projects both independently and under the guidance of a project director.
What you need to do to be effective in this role:
- Ability to successfully deliver projects and support in the management of client relationships.
- An ability to take on responsibility and act with a level of independence from senior management when called for.
- An understanding of both NEC and JCT contracts would be beneficial.
Skills and experience:
- Proven construction project management and managing professional teams.
- Experience across the pre-construction and construction stages of a project.
- Experience of report writing.
- Microsoft Office software, including MS Project, in-depth experience is essential.
- Degree in a construction related subject is desirable, but not essential. All degree backgrounds will be considered.
- Professional accreditation or working towards professional accreditation desirable (RICS, CIOB, APM).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Confidence delivering presentations and holding client-facing meetings.
