What’s The Opportunity
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Project Manager who is looking to advance their career, and who has a desire and ability to help further grow our business while working in a supportive team. Our team manages a diverse and high‑profile portfolio of projects which will offer you a variety of opportunities to progress your career at Ridge. This role will allow you independence to lead and manage exciting projects as well as work alongside experienced Project Managers across a variety of industry sectors potentially including urban redevelopment (commercial office, residential and placemaking), healthcare, education and defence. You will work on all stages of projects. If you have proven construction project management experience this role will offer you the opportunity to lead projects, manage existing client relationships and develop new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Autonomy for project delivery of all project stages, supported by a multi‑discipline business.
- Develop and manage client relationships cultivating a culture of trust, quality and growth.
- Proven construction project management and experience of managing professional teams.
- Advise on and implement the selection and appointment of all necessary consultants and specialists.
- Demonstrate leadership qualities to colleagues, clients and delivery partners with day‑to‑day responsibility and single point of contact for projects from inception to completion and close.
- Raise Ridge’s profile and brand within the construction industry and region through service excellence and networking.
Skills & Experience
- Ideally chartered within RICS, APM or CIOB.
- Degree in a construction related subject is desirable, but not essential; all degree backgrounds will be considered.
- Microsoft Office software, including MS Project, in‑depth experience is essential.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Confidence delivering presentations and holding client‑facing meetings.
- Proactive and adaptable, with strong ability to manage change.
