We are recruiting a Project Manager to join our team in the Winchester office to deliver project management services to clients across a variety of industry sectors. Applicants must be experienced project managers in construction consultancy and be able to apply their skills to sectors including higher education, healthcare, heritage and residential developments. You will work on all stages of projects.
What you need to do to be effective in this role:
- Ability to successfully deliver projects and support in the management of client relationships.
- Proven construction project management and managing professional teams experience required.
- Experience across the pre-construction and construction stages of a project.
- Experience of report writing.
- An ability to take on responsibility and act with a level of independence from senior management when called for.
- An understanding of both NEC and JCT contracts would be beneficial.
The skills and experience you need to have for this role:
- Microsoft Office software, including MS Project, in-depth experience is essential.
- Degree in a construction related subject is desirable, but not essential. All degree backgrounds will be considered.
- Professional accreditation or working towards professional accreditation desirable (RICS, CIOB, APM).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Confidence delivering presentations and holding client-facing meetings.
