At Ridge, we’re looking for motivated graduates with great communication skills, a strong eye for detail, and a genuine passion for the built environment to join our growing Project Controls team. We welcome graduates from a wide range of disciplines. What matters most is your attitude, enthusiasm and willingness to learn — the skills we can teach.

As a Graduate in Project Controls, you’ll help deliver high‑value, complex projects across sectors such as infrastructure, defence, energy, education and commercial development. You’ll work alongside multidisciplinary experts, supporting projects from early feasibility through to delivery and close out, gaining hands‑on experience in:

  • Setting up and supporting project controls systems
  • Cost, schedule and performance reporting
  • Developing and maintaining project schedules using tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
  • Contributing to cost estimates, proposals and risk assessments
  • Working directly with clients and stakeholders
  • Supporting teams across the UK, with potential travel opportunities

Some projects may require security clearance for which you will need to meet UK residency and vetting criteria.

Our two‑year Evolve Graduate Development Programme accelerates your technical, consultancy and leadership capabilities. You’ll benefit from:

  • Real project responsibility from day one
  • Structured workshops, on‑the‑job learning and mentoring
  • Rotations across sectors to expand your knowledge
  • A strong peer network and supportive line management
  • Fully funded routes to professional accreditation (APM, RICS, CSA or equivalent)

Alongside other Evolve graduates within Ridge, you’ll be supported to grow quickly, build confidence, and take pride in the impact you make.

I have or am predicted a minimum 2:1 (or equivalent) in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or other Engineering disciplines. I have the ability to gain UK SC clearance (please check you would be eligible to apply for this clearance before applying). I have permanent Right to Work in the UK and do not need visa sponsorship. You cannot be on a Student or Graduate visa for this role. I am passionate about the Built Environment — don’t take this one lightly! We love what we do and the Built Environment plays a vital role in the future of communities and society. It’s important we all share that passion so we can build legacies that last.

Plus:
