Overview
Our team has an opportunity for a Civil Engineering Technician to join our Cardiff team to produce civil engineering drawings for our projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop highways and drainage CAD designs and drawings in 2D & 3D
- Produce levels engineering drawings and cut and fill analysis
- Support senior civil engineering staff with design
- Ensure that Ridge document management and QA procedures are complied with
Required skills and experience
- Be fully conversant in AutoCAD with civil engineering related experience
- Experience and skills in Civil 3D, and Infodrainage would be a distinct advantage
- Previous experience of below ground Civil 3D utility modelling
- Past experience of Highway, Drainage and Earthworks projects is important
- Ideally experience of Keylines, keysigns and keypost with knowledge of the TSRGD
- Knowledge of the DMRB and Manual for Streets
- A relevant engineering qualification (e.g. HNC) or equivalent
