As one of the largest teams of Chartered Surveyors in the property sector, with over 140 surveyors across regional offices in the UK, our Building Surveying team in Birmingham has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Building Surveyor to join us. Our team works closely alongside established disciplines including Project Management and Building Services Engineering, delivering trusted and tailored services to a wide range of notable local clients. This role offers the opportunity to be part of an ambitious and growing team, aligned with the company’s long-term growth strategy. We are open to candidates from experienced Building Surveyor level through to Chartered (MRICS), providing flexibility to appoint the right individual for the team.

You will be involved in delivering all aspects of professional and project-related Building Surveying services across a diverse portfolio, including education, office, Local & Central Government, Defence, industrial, and residential sectors.

The Role

  • Delivering a range of Building Surveying services including building pathology, design, project management, contract administration, technical due diligence, dilapidations and party wall services.
  • Manage multiple projects and produce high-quality technical reports.
  • Support or lead multi-disciplinary instructions.
  • Build strong client relationships.

About You

  • Degree qualified and working towards, or already achieved, MRICS.
  • Experience across core Building Surveying services.
  • Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
  • Confident, personable and client-facing.
  • Full UK driving licence.
