Role OverviewThe People Advisor Europe is responsible for delivering a proactive, professional and customer-focused people service across multiple European countries. Reporting to the Europe People Manager, the role acts as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, providing guidance across employee relations, employee lifecycle activities, benefits administration, global mobility and Employer of Record (EOR) arrangements. Working closely with the Europe People Manager, Europe Payroll Advisor, Europe People Administration Team and business stakeholders, the People Advisor supports the consistent delivery of people processes and helps ensure compliance with local employment legislation, company policies and best practice across the region. The role plays a key part in supporting the employee experience throughout the employment lifecycle, providing advice and guidance on employee relations matters, overseeing onboarding and offboarding activities, coordinating benefits enrolment, supporting global mobility and Employer On Record processes, and contributing to a range of European People projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Role ResponsibilitiesEmployee Relations & AdvisoryProvide first-line HR advice and guidance to managers and employees across Europe on policies, procedures and employee relations matters. Provide advice and guidance on employee relations matters, supporting managers with absence management, probation reviews, performance conversations and routine employee relations matters, escalating more complex cases where appropriate. Support managers with performance management, employee development and people-related decision-making. Ensure policies and procedures are applied consistently and in line with local legislative requirements. Work closely with the Recruitment Team to support a smooth and timely onboarding process. Ensure accurate employee documentation and records are maintained throughout the employee lifecycle with support from the Europe People Administration Team. Global Mobility & EORSupport global mobility activities, including relocations, international assignments and cross-border working arrangements. Support visa, immigration and work permit processes through external providers where required. Maintain the integrity and accuracy of employee data, ensuring compliance with GDPR and company requirements. Collaborate with the Europe Payroll Advisor to ensure employee changes impacting payroll are communicated accurately and within agreed timelines. Produce people reports and data as required. ExperienceEssentialPrevious experience in a People Advisor, HR Advisor or similar role. Strong employee relations experience. Experience administering employee benefits programmes. Experience working with HR systems and employee data. Demonstrates a commitment to ongoing professional development. DesirableExperience supporting global mobility activities.
