RLB is continuing to win projects with clients in the Data Centre sector, and we are looking for more talented professionals to help deliver them. The Data Centre sector represents the forefront of technological advancement and sustainable development in the built environment. RLB has experienced substantial growth in the sector, expanding into new markets, broadening our service offerings, and significantly increasing our team. Our expert consultants play a key role on some of the most ambitious and exciting projects being developed in the sector today. RLB’s Data Centre team works on a wide range of projects including new build, fitout, refurbishment, and capacity upgrades.

With growing demand for our services, we are recruiting experienced Cost Managers for leadership positions within the team. The role will involve leading the delivery of various Data Centre (CSA/MEP) projects in and around London, and across Europe, as well as key account management and growing / developing teams. Role Responsibilities

  • Lead the successful delivery of Data Centre projects, taking responsibility for all aspects of project performance and outcomes.
  • Pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying and Cost Management.
  • Demonstrate leadership across people, projects and business activities.
  • Build and develop strong client relationships, contributing to work winning and new business opportunities.
  • Contribute to the financial performance of projects and the wider business, including revenue and profitability.
  • Manage and develop team members, including mentoring and supporting career development.
  • Promote efficiency, effectiveness and best practice across projects and teams.
  • Participate in and contribute to the development of Rider Levett Bucknall strategy.
  • Monitor technical performance across projects, reviewing delivery with teams and clients to ensure high standards.
  • Keep up to date with current thinking and best practice within the discipline.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications

  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar technical discipline.
  • MRICS or membership of other relevant professional body.

Experience

  • Strong experience delivering Data Centres.
  • CSA and MEP / Mechanical & Electrical packages.
  • Strong technical delivery experience.
  • Previously employed by a consultancy or end user client.
  • Stakeholder management with a clear focus on developing client accounts.
  • Demonstrable leadership capabilities across people, projects and business.
