Assist in identifying and mitigating risks related to construction projects, maintenance activities, and property management.
  • Risk Assessments and Site Safety: Conduct risk assessments and on-site safety inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Evaluate and document hazards, such as working at heights, asbestos management, and general site conditions.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Prepare, review, and maintain essential Health and Safety documentation for clients. Ensure all records align with regulatory and best practice standards.
  • Development Projects: Collaborate with design and construction teams to embed safety practices into project planning and execution. Provide input on designing safe and compliant buildings that meet regulatory and industry standards.
  • Soft Skill Development: Work on building key professional skills, including problem-solving, time management, effective communication, and stakeholder management.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Essential: A degree in a construction-related discipline, such as Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a similar field. A genuine interest in Health and Safety and a desire to contribute to safe building practices. Strong observational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Desirable: Familiarity with Health and Safety regulations, including CDM and/or Building Safety. Any previous experience (internships, placements, or projects) in construction, property, or risk management.

What We Offer

  • Tailored graduate training, including mentorship from experienced Health and Safety professionals.
  • Sponsorship and support to achieve professional qualifications, including IOSH, and eventual chartered status.
  • Exposure to diverse construction projects and property management challenges, offering real-world learning opportunities.
