Role Overview
Due to our growing and diverse portfolio an exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate Fire Engineer to join us in Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established multi-disciplinary team of consultants who pride themselves on providing outstanding Fire Safety guidance and advice, to a range of clients within both the public and private sectors. We provide a wide range of consultancy Fire safety services to our clients including:
- Fire Engineering Services
- Fire Compartmentation Surveys
- Fire Quality Monitoring
- Fire Remediation Project/Programme Management
- Fire Risk Assessments
- Building Safety Management/Building Safety Act Management
This is an exciting opportunity for a high calibre candidate to join and strengthen our team. The role will be an excellent opportunity for a self-starter to provide fire consultancy services from within our existing team.
- Assist/Manage a team of fire consultants
- Provide quality assurance and compliance to the clients
- Visit sites to provide a broad range of fire consultancy services
- Provide Fire advice, guidance and training across the client base
- Advising clients on matters of Fire Safety standards and best practice affecting their business
- Develop the Fire Consultancy Service and assist in providing management financial reporting
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive approach to the role, and will be delivering customer service excellence, with good commercial results. They will be passionate about fire safety and will strive to provide the upmost quality on every commission.
- Level 5 minimum qualification achieved in Fire Discipline
- Ideally an engineering related degree, plus IEng or CEng status
Experience
- Robust knowledge of UK fire safety legislation
- Ability to successfully direct and manage complex projects in a proactive and diligent manner
- Able to build long-term client relationship
- A team player, outgoing, flexible and motivated
