Role Overview: We are seeking an ambitious Building Surveyor looking for a rewarding career journey. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach to the role and demonstrate a track record of delivering excellent customer service, promoting knowledge and best practice across projects and achieving successful outcomes for clients.

Role Responsibilities:

  • To ensure business objectives of delivering value for money in all circumstances
  • To carry out assigned duties efficiently and in accordance with processes and procedures
  • Comply with established procurement/commercial/contractual strategies
  • To comply with Environmental, Health, Safety, Security and Quality Standards

Candidate Profile:

Qualifications:
  • Degree qualified in Building Surveying or similar technical discipline
  • MRICS or membership of other relevant professional body
Experience:
  • Strong technical delivery experience
  • Good knowledge of JCT Contracts
  • Track record in project management of projects from inception to completion
  • Evidence of working with multiple stakeholders
  • Previously employed by a consultancy
  • Experience working with teams and managing projects by prioritising workloads and delivering deadlines
Behaviours:
  • Ability to successfully manage complex projects in a proactive and diligent manner
  • Excellent specification writing skills
  • Client facing, ensuring a high standard of technical delivery
  • Able to build long-term relationships
