Description: Senior Health & Safety professional providing guidance and advice to a range of clients within the public and private sectors, from SMEs to large blue-chip corporate clients. Part of a well-established team of consultants delivering high-quality health and safety guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as Principal Designer or Principal Designer Advisor on small to large scale projects.
- Conduct audits, including general health and safety compliance and topic-specific audits.
- Advise and instruct clients on project team capability, management arrangements and other relevant procedures.
- Provide health and safety advice, guidance and training across the client base.
- Assist in the completion of PQQ/tendering documents.
Candidate Profile:
Qualifications:
- CertOSH, working towards (or willing to) Chartered membership of IOSH (CMIOSH).
- Level 6 health and safety qualification (Level 3 if already chartered in design discipline) desirable.
Experience:
- Proven experience providing client-side health and safety services within the construction or property industry.
- Good experience working under the CDM Regulations, carrying out roles such as CDM Coordinator.
- Wide ranging sector experience and working knowledge of large scale/complex projects.
- Excellent IT and communication skills.
