As a Mid-Weight Motion Graphic Designer and Editor, you will play a pivotal role in creating visually stunning and engaging motion graphics that captivate our audience and be confident in crafting narratives through edit. You will work closely with our creative team to bring concepts to life, ensuring each project meets our high standards of quality and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and animate compelling motion graphics using Adobe After Effects for a variety of projects.
  • Edit video content using Adobe Premiere, ensuring seamless integration of motion graphics with video footage.
  • Effectively utilise the full Adobe Creative Cloud suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition, etc.).
  • Work across multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining the quality of work under pressure.
  • Work collaboratively with the creative team, directors, producers, and designers, across sites, to ensure consistency across projects.
  • Work with clients to understand their vision and incorporate feedback into the design process.
  • Keep abreast of the latest trends in motion graphics and video production, continuously improving skills and integrating new techniques into your work.

Skills Required:

  • Experience in motion graphic design, in a production company, or agency environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro is essential.
  • Strong skills in the rest of the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Audition.
  • A keen eye for detail, strong visual storytelling abilities, and a passion for design and animation.
  • Solid understanding of video formats, codecs, social delivery and post-production workflows.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as a member of a broader team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.

Location and Working Hours:

Based in Leeds, you will be working from our Kirkstall Road studio. 9.00am - 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.
