Join a growing, dynamic company bringing joy to families across the UK. Ride On Entertainment is expanding, and we're looking for a reliable, hands-on Service Technician to join our field team. You'll play a key role in ensuring our much-loved children's rides are clean, safe, and fully operational in high-end retail environments. This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in their work, and has some basic electrical or mechanical repair experience.
The Role
As a Service Technician, you will travel to retail sites across South East London, Essex and Kent Regions, maintaining and servicing our character rides to the highest standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Cleaning and maintaining children's entertainment rides
- Carrying out basic electrical repairs and fault finding
- Installing and repositioning machines within premium shopping outlets
- Visiting multiple sites daily (typically 3-4 locations)
- Ensuring machines are presented to a high standard
- Lifting rides from vehicle to onsite location
Working Hours
Start time between 5am - 6am (depending on location) Early finish typically between 2pm - 3pm. If weekend requirement in emergency (Rare) additional payment received and time off in the week.
Ideal candidate will have:
- Some electrical or mechanical repair experience (SME level)
- A strong sense of responsibility and pride in their work
- Good communication and presentation skills with great eye for detail
- This is a physically active role so you will need to be comfortable with manual lifting
- A full UK driving licence
