As a Regional Business Development Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the growth of RICS across your region. By developing meaningful partnerships and identifying opportunities for collaboration, you’ll help extend our reach and increase our impact. This newly created role offers the opportunity to shape our presence in London and the South East by working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver a Regional Commercial Plan that aligns with RICS’ strategic aims
- Build and maintain B2B relationships, promoting group membership, sponsorship and product offerings
- Collaborate with public sector organisations, private firms, SMEs and universities
- Represent RICS at events and within professional and industry networks across the region
- Use feedback and insights from customers and stakeholders to inform regional activity
- Work alongside cross functional teams to grow and support member engagement
- Monitor progress toward key goals and maintain accurate records in Salesforce CRM
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Experience in B2B sales and account management, ideally within a membership body or similar organisation
- A consistent record of achieving revenue and engagement goals
- The ability to build long lasting, positive working relationships across sectors
- Clear and confident communication skills with the ability to adapt to different audiences
- An interest in working with a mix of public, private, SME and academic partners
- The ability to draw insight from customer needs and market data to guide activity
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce
- A collaborative, open and inclusive approach to team and stakeholder engagement
