Role Purpose and Key Responsibilities

As our Director of Education & Skills, you will lead the design and delivery of a modern, globally relevant qualifications and training portfolio. You’ll combine strategic leadership with hands‑on delivery to build innovative, flexible pathways into the profession.

  • Lead the organisation’s global education and training strategy.
  • Redesign qualification pathways aligned to industry needs and future‑skills requirements.
  • Oversee curriculum, syllabus development and high‑quality learning resources.
  • Drive innovation through digital, blended and technology‑enabled learning models.
  • Ensure strong alignment with standards, regulation and quality assurance frameworks.
  • Build and maintain senior stakeholder relationships across industry, academia, government and global partners.

About You

You are a strategic, visionary education leader with deep expertise in designing qualifications or professional education programmes within regulated or standards‑based settings. You’ll bring:

  • Proven experience designing and launching qualifications or education programmes.
  • Strong expertise in curriculum design, assessment and competency frameworks.
  • Knowledge of UK and international qualification frameworks (RQF, SCQF, EQF).
  • Experience working within professional bodies, awarding organisations or higher education.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A passion for innovation, lifelong learning and global accessibility.
