Role Purpose and Key Responsibilities
As Head of Portfolio, you will provide strategic oversight of the organisation’s portfolio of projects, programmes and initiatives. You will ensure alignment to corporate strategy, optimise investment and resource allocation, and enable effective governance, insight and decision‑making at executive level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and embed a robust portfolio governance framework that supports effective prioritisation, assurance and value delivery.
- Provide enterprise‑level oversight of the change portfolio, ensuring initiatives align with strategic objectives and deliver measurable benefits.
- Lead portfolio prioritisation, investment decisions and resource optimisation to maximise organisational impact.
- Act as the senior point of contact for portfolio‑level reporting and insight, engaging executives and governance forums.
- Oversee portfolio performance, including benefits tracking, budgets, risks, dependencies and delivery confidence.
- Lead and develop a high‑performing portfolio office, driving continuous improvement and maturity in portfolio management practices.

- Experience producing portfolio‑level insight, dashboards and decision‑ready reporting.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast‑paced environments and setting direction for others.
