Role Purpose and Key Responsibilities
As an isurv Editorial Assistant, you will edit, manage and optimise content across assigned isurv channels, ensuring high editorial standards, consistency and a strong user experience. You will work closely with authors, content leads and internal teams to deliver accurate, up‑to‑date and accessible technical content.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and quality‑assure submitted content to ensure alignment with isurv style, commissioning briefs and RICS brand standards.
- Optimise content for digital publication, including structure, accessibility, SEO, links and cross‑channel integration.
- Manage and maintain content within the CMS, conducting regular QA checks and updates to ensure relevance and functionality.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with authors, supporting content development, resolving queries and ensuring timely submissions.
- Collaborate with content leads and editorial boards to brief authors, guide updates and support commissioning activity.
- Monitor sector developments and proactively identify opportunities to update or enhance content.
About You
You are a detail‑focused digital editor with strong technical editing skills and experience managing content across multiple stakeholders. You are organised, proactive and confident working with complex, information‑rich material in a fast‑paced environment.
Skills & Experience
- Experience editing and quality‑assuring high volumes of technical or B2B content.
- Strong written English and the ability to apply consistent editorial standards and house style.
- Experience working with CMS platforms, including digital formatting, accessibility and SEO optimisation.
- Proven ability to manage relationships with multiple authors and stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across a matrixed organisation.
