About Us

This hybrid role is based on a 60% onsite, 40% remote working model. Join RICS, a globally respected organisation that sets the highest ethical standards across land, real estate, construction, and infrastructure, supporting 140,000 professionals worldwide. At RICS, we are at the forefront of shaping the built and natural environment. As a prominent professional body, we empower our members with globally recognised qualifications, influential networks, and access to high quality resources.

Role Purpose and Key Responsibilities

As our Product Manager – Knowledge and Content Experience, you will shape the end‑to‑end digital experiences through which members and stakeholders discover, access and use our knowledge. Sitting at the intersection of content, UX, technology and AI, you will own the vision and roadmap for how our content is presented, protected, personalised and consumed across platforms. You will work closely with users, internal teams and external partners to create seamless, engaging experiences that make our knowledge easier to find, understand, return to and apply — while safeguarding our intellectual property and enabling modern, intelligent content journeys.

  • Own the vision, roadmap and end‑to‑end experience for digital knowledge platforms (e.g. hubs, libraries, tools, portals).
  • Understand user needs and behaviours through research, data and direct engagement, translating them into an outcome‑focused product strategy.
  • Lead cross‑functional discovery and delivery with UX, engineering, data, content, commercial and legal partners.
  • Explore and implement AI‑enabled features such as intelligent search, summarisation and personalised recommendations.
  • Protect our intellectual property by shaping access models, permissions and content‑use guardrails.
  • Use analytics and qualitative insight to optimise navigation, IA, interaction design and overall usability.

About You

You are a strategic, user‑centred product manager who is genuinely curious about how people engage with content — how they search, skim, save and use information to make better decisions. You blend product thinking, UX understanding, analytical rigour and creative problem‑solving to design seamless, modern content experiences.

  • Experience managing user‑facing digital products, ideally in a knowledge‑rich, professional, B2B or membership setting.
  • Proven ability to define strategy and roadmaps focused on discovery, engagement, satisfaction and repeat usage.
  • Strong experience with content‑dense platforms (knowledge bases, learning portals, information services).
  • Skilled in product discovery and confident working with UX research, user journeys and experience design.
  • Comfortable working in agile, cross‑functional teams with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, able to align and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Rewards and Benefits

We offer a competitive benefits package designed to support your wellbeing, work-life balance, and financial security. This includes:

  • 25 days annual leave plus public holidays
  • Private medical insurance and wellbeing support
  • Pension scheme, life assurance, and income protection
  • Enhanced family leave and volunteering opportunities
