As our Digital Operations & Performance Manager, you will oversee the performance, operations and strategic development of RICS’ digital estate. You will lead front‑end digital operations, drive user‑centred improvements across multiple websites, and partner closely with UX, design, analytics and technology teams to shape our digital experience strategy. This role combines leadership, digital performance optimisation, and hands‑on operational oversight, ensuring our digital channels deliver greater value for members and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a full audit and strategic review of RICS’ digital estate, identifying opportunities to enhance UX and digital performance.
  • Oversee day‑to‑day web operations across multiple websites, ensuring high‑quality, consistent and efficient delivery.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to improve digital engagement, using data‑driven insights to guide optimisation activity.
  • Collaborate with analytics teams to track performance, identify trends and support data‑informed decision‑making.
  • Manage and develop the Digital Operations & Performance team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with UX, design and technology teams to deliver user‑centred change and contribute to agile ways of working.

About You

  • You are an experienced digital leader with strong operational, strategic and UX awareness.
  • You combine digital performance knowledge with excellent stakeholder management and the ability to drive improvements across a complex digital estate.
  • You thrive in fast‑moving environments and enjoy leading teams through change.
  • Experience in digital or web management roles, ideally across multi‑site or global environments.
  • Strong understanding of Adobe Experience Manager or similar platforms.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary digital or technical teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and the ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Experience contributing to digital transformation or change programmes.
  • Working knowledge of agile, user‑centred design and Lean principles.
  • Clear communicator with strong presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Understanding of SEO best practices, technical SEO, and search optimisation.
  • Experience applying DE&I principles in digital design and operations.
