The Role
This is a proactive sales role where you’ll focus on identifying, engaging, and acquiring new customers, while also strengthening long-term partnerships with existing accounts. As the face of Ricoman for fit-out companies, electrical contractors, M&E consultants, and interior designers, you will combine business development with consultative support — winning new customers, new projects, nurturing relationships, and providing tailored lighting specifications that inspire confidence and deliver value.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver product presentations, samples, and demonstrations to win specifications
- Generate leads, manage a healthy sales pipeline, and achieve agreed sales targets
- Represent Ricoman at industry events, trade shows, and client visits to build visibility and credibility
- Identify opportunities to introduce Ricoman solutions into new projects at early design stages
- Translate customer requirements into lighting specifications and tailored solutions
- Guide clients through options, compliance standards, and best practices
- Work closely with our Lighting Design and Technical teams to ensure feasibility and accuracy
Partnership Development
- Build and maintain strong, long‑term client relationships
- Develop new accounts and expand existing ones through trust and value creation
- Act as the key contact for projects from enquiry to post‑delivery support
- Provide market intelligence and feedback to Marketing, Production, and Technical teams
- Participate in cross‑departmental reviews and ensure customer insights are captured in feedback.
- Uphold agreed SLAs for responsiveness, quoting, and issue resolution
What We’re Looking For
- Proven track record in B2B sales (lighting, electrical, building services, or other technical sector — preferred but not essential)
- Strong ability to engage with specifiers, contractors, and designers
- Excellent communication and presentation skills – able to simplify technical information for clients
