What you will be doing:
- Lead financial planning, commercial finance and business performance management for GMA, driving delivery of annual revenue, growth and profitability targets.
- Act as senior Finance Business Partner to GMA Channel Sales VPs and RGS leadership, providing governance, commercial challenge and decision support across planning, forecasting, pipeline, revenue conversion and profitability.
- Collaborate with senior business leaders, global finance teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to align financial and operational performance with strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Business Partnering: Partner with GMA Sales leadership to deliver revenue, margin and profitability targets; provide commercial insight and challenge, identify performance gaps and opportunities and develop mitigation plans with Sales Leadership.
- Performance Reporting & Management: Own executive performance reporting, providing clear commentary and recommendations across revenue, gross profit, forecast, pipeline, commissions, risks and opportunities; ensure performance gaps have clear actions and accountability.
- Forecasting, Planning & Reporting Governance: Govern the GMA budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting frameworks, ensuring consistent assumptions, standards, timelines and accountability across regions.
- Pipeline Governance & Commercial Challenge: Govern pipeline progression, conversion and slippage against revenue and growth targets; challenge Sales commitments and ensure material gaps have clear mitigation plans, owners and actions.
- Revenue Recognition & Order Conversion: Work with Sales, Service Delivery and Markets to track major wins/orders through implementation into revenue; provide visibility of order-to-revenue timing, P&L impact and operational issues affecting revenue realisation.
- Customer & Channel Profitability: Lead profitability analysis at customer and channel level, using financial insight and scenario modelling to support pricing, investment, portfolio and resource-allocation decisions.
- Commission Management & Financial Controls: Provide governance over sales commission calculations, validation, reconciliations and reporting, while maintaining robust controls and compliance across forecasting, reporting and performance-management processes.
- Performance Analytics & Digital Enablement: Own and continuously improve GMA management information, KPI definitions and reporting standards; drive data quality, automation and financial visibility through RGS Insights, Power BI and other analytical capabilities.
You will ideally have:
- Deep Commercial Finance Expertise: Significant progressive experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance and Finance Business Partnering within a sales-led, services or international organisation.
- Strategic Business Partnering: Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders, identify commercial risks and opportunities, and translate financial analysis into clear recommendation.
- Analytical & Insight Leadership: Deep expertise in revenue and margin forecasting, budgeting, pipeline governance, performance management, financial modelling and profitability analysis.
- Problem Solving & Structured Thinking: Advanced capability in root-cause analysis, scenario modelling, and synthesising ambiguity into clear options and conclusions-communicated with confidence and clarity.
- Ideally qualified ACCA / CIMA and degree or equivalent level professional qualification in Finance or Accountancy.
- Highly self-sufficient, with the ability to prioritise in a high-growth, international setting.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, particularly within Sales-driven environments.
- Excellent analytical, commercial, communication, presentation and influencing skills.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability, with experience of enterprise planning, CRM and BI tools such as Workday Adaptive Planning, Dynamics, Power BI, Qlik, Oracle or SAP.
- Self-sufficient, proactive and delivery-focused, with the judgement to operate effectively in a fast-paced and ambiguous international environment.
