What You Will Be Doing
- Oversee the full lifecycle of print jobs, including artwork submission, proofing, production and final delivery, monitoring progress to ensure deadlines, quality standards and budgets are achieved.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client outsourced print requirements, building strong relationships with local and senior level stakeholders, to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Work with clients to determine optimal and practical production print solutions, including cost, quality and deadlines, aligned with industry standards to provide solutions for clients to consider and select to meet their print requirements.
- Ensure all eligible work is channeled through the internal print room where appropriate, preparing and validating jobs, confirming specifications, quantities and finishing requirements to ensure all work meets agreed standards before release to production.
- Work with internal productions teams to route work across equipment and locations, creating and managing detailed production schedules, to support the prioritisation of work to meet service levels and deadlines.
- Manage the tendering process for jobs that cannot be completed internally, to ensure competitive pricing outcomes, evaluating supplier quotations and present recommendations to clients.
- Maintain effective supplier engagement to support delivery needs.
You Will Ideally Have
- Strong knowledge of print production processes and industry standards.
- Proven experience in supplier management and procurement.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills.
- Ability to interpret and build technical print specifications.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to balance quality, cost, and timelines.
- Knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, Print/Design applications & MIS systems.
- Financial acumen to ensure achievement of agreed targets.
- Confident presenter with the ability to deliver presentations to both internal and external customers and the senior management team.
- Conflict resolution skills, excellent analytical skills.
- Awareness of Process Improvement and Change Management methodologies.
