Providing financial governance and commercial support to senior stakeholders across Ricoh’s lines of business, ensuring governance is observed, delivering financial insight, and driving transformation to meet business targets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain senior‑level relationships, providing financial data to influence stakeholder functions and commercial insight to leadership teams.
- Own and comprehensively understand all balance sheet reconciliations within defined business areas, escalating identified risks and opportunities to senior finance management.
- Monitor cash position, commercial P&L/Line‑of‑Business performance and variance against budget, providing trend analysis, exception reporting and cost‑management insights.
- Lead and drive strategic financial transformation, challenging senior stakeholders and demonstrating commercial influence to create sustainable, profitable divisions while upholding governance and compliance.
- Own accurate functional budgeting and re‑forecasting, proactively track monthly updates, and advise on key business planning assumptions, pricing and cost/revenue modelling.
- Lead the month‑end process for the assigned area, ensuring audit testing and regulations support clean audit reporting; contribute to the monthly reporting pack with insights into published results and recommendations.
- In collaboration with senior finance management and business leaders, provide detailed analysis for board packs, collate and present during board reviews to support strategic decision‑making and performance insight.
Qualifications
- Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with a degree level education.
- Proven commercial finance experience within IT and professional services/consultancy sectors of comparable size.
- Advanced knowledge of reporting, budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Strong commercial thinking and foresight.
- Preferred experience of successful finance transformation assignments.
- Demonstrable ability to analyse and validate financial and performance data.
- Comfortable communicating performance and influencing key stakeholders.
- Ability to apply persuasive influence with stakeholders.
- Adaptable to work in a growth–oriented, evolving environment.
- Excellent presentation skills – able to translate complex data for non‑finance audiences.
