What you will be doing
- Lead the day‑to‑day efficient procurement of third‑party IT services from existing suppliers, including effective negotiation, compliant processing and on‑time delivery.
- Manage the end‑to‑end order management of internal and external third‑party IT services and item requirements, seeking to improve order‑progress communication, automate requisition management and regulate authorisation sign‑off processes to improve efficiency and customer experience.
- Develop and manage an effective process to record cost comparisons per requirement and demonstrate savings achieved through effective sourcing and negotiation to optimise margins and reduce operating costs.
- Maintain acceptable performance levels (KPIs) to consistently achieve internal and external requirements inclusive of efficient purchase order creation and exceptional order management to ensure on‑time delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the business to strategically develop and optimise purchasing processes and tools.
- Lead, coach and develop a team of professional employees to ensure levels of expertise meet the current and future needs of the teams, department and business.
- Ensure high employee satisfaction, trust and engagement using good people practices aligned to Ricoh’s core competencies and the department’s own values.
You will ideally have
- Proven relevant experience in a procurement function leading activities associated with sourcing or purchasing third‑party IT services and items.
- Proven experience of the purchase‑to‑pay order‑processing lifecycle inclusive of clean order management.
- Excellent knowledge and experience of IT services.
- Proven customer service experience with good interpersonal, analytical, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent relationship management and proven leadership skills including line management, underpinned by a professional and confident manner.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal, external stakeholders, suppliers, customers, peers, senior management and the wider business at all levels of seniority.
- Proven ability to adopt and embrace the management of change and culture.
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Oracle ERP system and capability to learn the use of other software applications inclusive of purchase‑to‑pay.
