We are looking for an energetic and commercially minded L&D Sales Training Consultant to play a key role in shaping the capability and performance of our UK sales teams. In this role, you will bring the EMEA Sales Academy strategy to life within the UK market designing, delivering, and embedding learning experiences that elevate sales excellence, strengthen capability, and drive measurable business impact. Through this role, you will have the autonomy and influence to shape how our sales teams learn, grow, and perform. Your expertise will directly impact capability, confidence, and commercial results, while working closely with sales leaders, managers, and regional L&D teams to drive meaningful change and embed learning into everyday performance. What you will be doing:
- Strategic Partnering & Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a trusted advisor to UK sales leaders, managers, and HR/L&D partners.
- Build strong relationships to ensure learning initiatives are aligned with business priorities and embedded effectively.
- Champion the EMEA Sales Academy programmes, ensuring seamless integration into local strategies.
- Learning Strategy, Planning & Execution
- Translate regional Sales Academy objectives into actionable UK learning plans.
- Conduct needs analyses to identify capability gaps and ensure learning solutions support UK sales channel goals.
- Manage end-to-end learning projects, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.
- Sales Capability & Performance Improvement
- Provide a holistic view of capability needs across all sales channels.
- Identify common challenges and recommend scalable, high-impact learning solutions.
- Track and report on programme effectiveness, ROI, and behavioural impact—using insights to refine future initiatives.
- Design, Development & Delivery
- Collaborate with regional L&D leaders to shape content, delivery methods, and resource allocation.
- Deliver engaging blended learning experiences—classroom, virtual, and coaching-based.
- Tailor facilitation to diverse audiences, ensuring relevance and practical application.
- Programme Implementation & Governance
- Lead the rollout of EMEA Sales Academy programmes across the UK.
- Oversee project coordination, stakeholder communication, and quality assurance.
- Ensure all L&D processes, tools, and standards are consistently applied.
- Coaching & Team Development
- Coach and mentor sales teams to build confidence, capability, and performance.
- Support managers in embedding learning and reinforcing new behaviours.
- Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
- Partner with the Head of L&D to measure learning effectiveness and business impact.
- Apply continuous improvement principles to enhance programme quality and outcomes.
You will ideally have:
- A strong background in sales training, sales enablement, or sales coaching, ideally within a commercial or revenue-driven environment.
- Experience designing, delivering, and evaluating learning solutions that drive measurable performance improvement.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse sales audiences.
- Experience working collaboratively in a matrixed environment.
- Strategic planning and project management capability.
- Resilience, adaptability, and strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced setting.
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office and familiarity with O365/SharePoint/OneDrive.
- Understanding of adult learning principles, blended learning, and frameworks such as 70:20:10 (advantageous).
- Experience implementing learning strategies within a sales environment and coaching teams toward high performance.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Ideally be degree-level education or equivalent professional qualification and/or experience in L&D, HR, OD, or a related field.
