We are looking for an International BDM for Smart Lockers to drive sales and revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Grow the EMEA Smart Locker business with a defined list of enterprise customers.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targets across Europe for Wex.
  • Identify and prioritise key markets and customer channels to expand our client base across key verticals in the Direct Sales Channel.
  • Mentor and manage selected Europe OpCo sales specialists with the objective of developing a solid pipeline and sales performance in the Direct Sales Channel, providing guidance, support, and motivation.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve sales targets.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working in a targeted international environment, preferably with a Locker Solutions background.
  • Good understanding and experience of selling Locker services and solutions to large blue‑chip and logistics companies.
  • Ability to introduce a value proposition at C level.
  • Experience managing longer sales cycles in large accounts and negotiating and influencing skills up to C level.
  • Knowledge of all aspects of the EMEA Workplace experience industry.
  • Excellent presentation skills – able to communicate at all levels using a variety of means.
  • Proven knowledge and excellent understanding of commercial, financial and contractual relationships with customers.
  • Ability to work within a project team and foster good teamwork ethos.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written, and able to communicate well with colleagues and clients at all levels. Other language skills are a distinct advantage.
  • Experience of multiple hardware and software platforms and comfort with environments.
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with data protection and cybersecurity standards.
  • Understanding of how locker software integrates with existing IT systems (e.g. AD, API integration) to automate workflows.
