The predicted salary is between 55000 - 65000 £ per year.

This role owns the end-to-end Sales product portfolio and supporting solutions across REU. Acting as both Product and Solution Owner, this role defines product vision, strategy, roadmaps and investment priorities aligned to business outcomes, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, compliant and fit for purpose. Working closely with business and IT stakeholders, the role shapes demand, manages a prioritised backlog and oversees delivery from discovery through to adoption.

The ideal candidate is data-driven and process-focused, with strong product governance and change management experience, and a proven track record in complex, multi-country IT environments.

  • Product ownership
    • Define product vision, strategy and measurable outcomes
    • Own the Sales roadmap, prioritisation and release planning aligned to REU goals, including harmonisation and standardisation
  • Demand & backlog management
    • Partner with Sales leadership, process owners and Operating Companies to shape demand and build value cases
    • Translate requirements into user stories/epics with clear acceptance criteria and a prioritised backlog
  • Business Requirements
    • Create and maintain BRDs (or equivalent), covering scope, problem statement, stakeholders, current/future processes, requirements, risks, dependencies and benefits
    • Ensure stakeholder alignment, review and sign-off
  • Solution ownership & design
    • Own end-to-end solution design across applications, integrations and data
    • Define standards and guardrails (non-functional requirements, security, privacy, controls, resilience and supportability)
    • Accountable for Solution Design Documents (SDDs), including architecture, integrations, data flows, roles/permissions, testing approach and support model
    • Lead design reviews and approvals with IT, Architecture, Security and Support teams
  • Delivery governance
    • Lead end-to-end lifecycle delivery (discover, design, build, test, deploy, hypercare)
    • Ensure process integrity, dependency management and risk control
  • Release & operational readiness
    • Define product governance, standards and documentation
    • Oversee release readiness, cutover planning and transition to support, including runbooks, KPIs and SLAs
  • Quality & controls
    • Ensure robust testing strategy, UAT coordination, defect management and sign-off
    • Maintain auditability, data quality and compliance with policies
  • Adoption & Benefits Realisation
    • Drive adoption through stakeholder engagement, communication and training
    • Track usage and measure benefits realisation
  • Domain expertise
    • Act as Sales SME across key processes (lead management, opportunities, marketing, quoting, pricing, order creation and sales activities)
    • Leverage platforms such as SOFON, Siebel, Microsoft Dynamics and Xait
    • Identify opportunities to apply AI to improve efficiency, quality and user experience
  • Vendor management
    • Manage third-party/vendor relationships, including roadmap alignment, performance, commercial governance and issue resolution
  • Executive support & continuous improvement
    • Provide data-driven recommendations on process and solution improvements, trade-offs and investment priorities
    • Drive continuous improvement through metrics, feedback and a transparent product operating cadence (e.g. product reviews, roadmap updates, release communications)

Qualifications

  • Proven experience owning and evolving business-critical Sales or customer lifecycle products in a multi-country environment
  • Strong track record delivering end-to-end change (requirements, design, build, test, release and adoption), including integrations and data
  • Experience with CRM/Sales platforms (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics, Siebel, SOFON or similar), including configuration and vendor collaboration
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to assess options, quantify value and recommend clear actions
  • Excellent stakeholder management, able to align business, IT and vendors and manage competing priorities
  • Skilled in product and solution governance, including scope control, standards, documentation and operational readiness
  • Ability to translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Commercially minded, with experience building business cases, defining metrics and driving data-led decisions
  • Confident communicator and influencer, engaging effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong knowledge of Sales processes (e.g. lead-to-order, quoting, pricing, CRM/SFA) and supporting tools (e.g. Xait)
  • Familiar with Agile/Waterfall delivery, SDLC, release and change management practices
  • Experience using Microsoft tools and modern collaboration platforms; awareness of AI/automation to enhance delivery is desirable
  • Continuous improvement mindset, with exposure to data-driven approaches (e.g. Lean methodologies)
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written is essential for this role, with any additional European languages (French, Spanish or German) a distinct plus
  • High attention to detail, self-motivated and comfortable working in ambiguous environments
  • Willingness to travel as required
