As the Lead AV Programmer & Commissioner (LPC) within our Post Sales Engineering Team, you will play a critical role in delivering cutting-edge AV systems for international projects, ensuring their successful implementation and commissioning. You’ll work closely with our technical delivery teams, collaborating with pre-sales engineers, delivery teams, and field engineers to support AV system programming and provide ongoing technical support.
What you will be doing
- AV System Programming & Commissioning: Lead the programming and commissioning of AV systems, ensuring they meet Ricoh’s high standards.
- Collaboration Across Teams: Work closely with Pre & Post-Sales teams to validate designs, create technical documentation, and deliver successful AV system deployments.
- Innovation & Efficiency: Develop a library of AV device programming modules and contribute to the creation of streamlined, standardised deployment guides and templates.
- Technical Support & Training: Assist with training sessions and support R&D testing to ensure the highest quality systems are delivered.
- Global Impact: Contribute to international projects, regularly traveling across Europe for on-site deployments and providing remote assistance when necessary.
You will ideally have
- Extensive experience of AV programming, with expertise in systems like QSYS, Crestron, BiAMP, Extron, and more.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of AV systems, control systems programming (C#, Python, Crestron, etc.), and networking (CompTIA, Cisco CCNA).
- Industry certifications in AV programming, network knowledge, and related systems.
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, keeping projects on track and ensuring successful delivery.
- Willingness and ability to travel across Europe frequently.
