We are hiring a Functional Consultant – Marketing & DX/CX to lead the end-to-end product portfolio and supporting solutions across REU. The role defines vision, strategy, roadmaps and priorities aligned to business outcomes, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, compliant and fit for purpose.
Key Responsibilities
- Product strategy & ownership
- Define and own product vision, strategy, roadmap and measurable outcomes aligned to business priorities.
- Deliver clear, prioritised roadmap execution with measurable business value (e.g. cycle time, conversion, compliance improvements).
- Demand & Requirements Management
- Shape demand with stakeholders, build business cases and translate requirements into prioritised backlogs and user stories.
- Develop and maintain clear, approved requirements (scope, processes, risks, dependencies, benefits and acceptance criteria).
- Solution ownership & design
- Own end-to-end solution design across applications, integrations and data.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security and compliance standards.
- Delivery & governance
- Lead delivery across the full lifecycle (discovery to deployment), managing dependencies, risks, milestones and timelines.
- Govern the solution landscape to ensure process integrity and consistency.
- Release & operational readiness
- Ensure release readiness, including governance, cutover planning and transition to support.
- Maintain operational stability through effective handover, runbooks and support models.
- Quality, controls & performance
- Drive quality through testing strategy, UAT, defect management and adherence to controls and data standards.
- Ensure solution stability, reduced defects and controlled risk.
- Adoption & value realisation
- Drive adoption and benefits realisation through stakeholder engagement, training and performance tracking.
- Domain expertise & continuous improvement
- Act as SME across key processes (e.g. lead-to-order, quoting, pricing, order management).
- Leverage platforms such as SOFON, Siebel, Microsoft Dynamics and Xait.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities using metrics, feedback and regular product updates.
- Vendor & financial management
- Manage vendors and partners, ensuring service performance, roadmap alignment and issue resolution.
- Oversee budgets, ensuring dependencies and risks are actively tracked and mitigated.
- Executive support
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support decision-making and prioritisation.
Candidate Profile
- Educated to at least degree level or equivalent professional qualification, or hold relevant previous experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrated product and/or solution ownership capability, with strong knowledge of business processes and supporting applications (e.g., SOFON, Siebel, Microsoft Dynamics, Xait, CRM/SFA, quoting, proposals, pricing and order creation) in a multi-country environment.
- Proven knowledge of delivery methods and governance (Agile/Waterfall, SDLC, release management, change management) and awareness of continuous improvement practices (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) and data-driven decision-making.
- Strong stakeholder management, alignment of business, IT and vendor stakeholders, facilitation of decisions, and transparent prioritisation.
- Background of product & solution governance: definition of standards, scope management, documentation, operational readiness with Application Support, and translation of business needs into detailed functional requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Commercial and analytical mindset, ability to build value cases, define metrics, analyse data and translate insights into prioritised action.
- Excellent communicator, able to influence across functions and cultures with both technical and non-technical audiences; fluent in English (spoken and written). Additional European languages (French, Spanish or German) are a plus but not essential.
- Some travel may be required with this role.
