Ricoh are currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager – AV Integration Sales to join our International Sales Division who develop a pipeline of international AVCS opportunities through new and existing accounts.

Successful candidates for this role will ideally be based within the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and be fluent in both English and German, with any other language skills an advantage.

What you will be doing

  • Develop a pipeline of international Audio Visual Integration Sales opportunities through new and existing accounts.
  • Assist local OpCos in strategic sales opportunities with a view to international development
  • Proactively identify potential new Audio-Visual Integration Sales business opportunities within EMEA
  • Identify and manage a strong pipeline of potential new clients.
  • Producing and committing to a reliable Sales Forecast
  • Promoting the AV Integration Sales value propositions within the target portfolio Operating Companies
  • Working with Pre-sales, Operations, Business support, Finance, HR and IT where appropriate and coordinating multi-country tender responses
  • Prepare and present high quality client proposals to develop new business in line with the Company sales strategy.
  • Close and win new contracts to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Effectively promote Ricoh CS within your existing professional network.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned Revenue & GP Targets
  • Maximise profit within the defined account and hunt and close multi-country deals
  • Coordinate all resources (pre-sales, business support and Finance) resources to return effective bid responses
  • Build relationships and coordinate with all relevant OpCo stakeholders to drive one Ricoh mentality
  • Develop and direct professional bids for new business sales opportunities
  • Provide timely and accurate management information for future business forecasting
  • Help develop marketing materials to assist in driving awareness of CS
    propositions.
  • Propose new GTM initiatives to senior management and provide end to end solution and design guidelines
  • Effective System Integrators/Vendors/Partner management, and generate pipeline and grow wallet share in CS
  • Provide reliable forecast with a strong forecast accuracy
  • Build a senior and operational network within the customers organisation, alongside a deep understanding of the customer’s business and Industry
  • Manage Customer feedback and conduct regular Business Reviews and work to turn customers into advocates to support the wider Ricoh Business.

You will ideally have

  • Successful candidates will have a proven experience of successfully working in a targeted environment in an international context, preferably with an Audio-Visual Integration Sales solutions background
  • Ideally you will be of Graduate calibre or equivalent qualification in any discipline, with a proven background in a similar role in AV Integration Sales or AV Consultancy.
  • Preferably you will be experienced in successfully working in a targeted environment in an international context, preferably with an Audio-Visual background.
  • Successful candidates will be fluent in English and ideally German, with any other language skill a distinct advantage
  • Ideally you will have a good understanding and experience of designing and selling Audio Visual Integrated Sales services and solutions to large blue-chip companies
  • Preferably candidates will have the ability to introduce a value Proposition at “C level” Alongside experience of managing longer sales cycles in large accounts, including negotiation and influencing skills up to “C level”
  • Successful candidates will have excellent presentation skills – able to communicate at all levels using a variety of means. Alongside an excellent knowledge and understand of commercial, financial and contractual relationships with customers
  • Preferably you will be able to work within a project team, fostering a good teamwork ethos
  • This role requires knowledge and skills that are both broad and deep. To be effective the must have experience on multiple Hardware and Software platforms and be comfortable with complex AV system environments.
