It will train and develop you into a fully authorised Mortgage Broker, starting as an internal Business Development Executive, and moving into the position of Mortgage Broker. Business Development Executive / Mortgage Broker Overview:
The primary role of a Mortgage Broker is to market the company and actively establish a network of mortgage brokers and independent financial advisors, from which customer referrals are generated.
Main Duties:
- The development of new business, via methods such as canvassing, outbound, and inbound telemarketing.
- Build up a broker database and maintain good relationships accordingly.
- To maintain a competent level of understanding of mainstream lender’s underwriting policies and procedures.
- Sales processing and accurate data entry.
- Submission of timely and accurate application packs.
- Adherence to quality and compliance standards.
- To assist the Specialist Mortgage Advisor at the applicable stages of the sales process.
- To pay high regard to Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulations including Treating Customers Fairly Principles.
- Encourage and maintain a high level of customer service and excellence.
- To pay particular attention to ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive information.
- To always behave in a positive and professional manner when representing the company.
- General housekeeping duties, ensuring the office is kept tidy.
- To follow all company policies and procedures.
- Any other duties as requested by your Manager.
