Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Cook position located in Eastington. The Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals to meet dietary and nutritional requirements, following food safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and order in the kitchen, and assisting with meal planning when necessary. The role demands collaboration with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and high-quality meal service, while adapting to specific dietary needs as required.
Qualifications

• Cooking and meal preparation experience, with knowledge of various culinary techniques
• Understanding of dietary and nutritional requirements, including special diets
• Food hygiene and safety knowledge, with certification in food handling being highly desirable
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and ensure meal timelines
• Teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with kitchen staff and healthcare team members
• Experience in a healthcare or similar environment is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and cost control practices in a kitchen setting
