About the role

Location: Croxley Green, Rickmansworth

Contract type: Term time plus 2 INSET/Additional Days, Permanent

Hours: 30 hours per week: Monday - Friday, 08:20 - 15:20 (includes two unpaid breaks, one for 20 minutes and the other for 40 minutes)

Salary: H4 pt 6 to H4 pt 9 (£25,989 to £27,254) plus £1,045 Fringe. Pro-rata Actual Salary: £18,496.66 to £19,362.18 per annum (incl. Fringe).

Start Date: September 2026

You will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences by supervising whole classes, ensuring that students remain on task and complete work set by their usual teacher or department. You will support students, manage behaviour, support learning and uphold school policies to help create a calm, purposeful classroom environment. While you will not be required to plan or mark work, your ability to manage behaviour and support learning will be vital to keep students engaged and productive.
