What you’ll be doing
- Preparingand cooking pizzas to specification, ensuring consistency and quality
- Stretching,topping, and baking pizzas with accuracy and attention to detail
- Supportingthe kitchen team to deliver high-quality dishes during busy service
- Maintainingexcellent food hygiene and safety standards at all times
- Assistingwith prep, stock rotation, and deliveries
- Keepingyour section clean, organised, and service-ready
- Workingcollaboratively with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth service
What we’re looking for
- Experienceworking in a pizza section or similar fast-paced kitchen role
- Confidencein dough handling and pizza preparation techniques
- Apassion for fresh ingredients and quality cooking
- Abilityto work calmly under pressure during peak service
- Strongattention to detail and pride in presentation
- Areliable, positive team player with a strong work ethic
- Flexibilityto work evenings, weekends, and throughout the seasonal period

The Cornish Arms in St. Merryn, offers a simple British pub menu, with dishes like real beef burgers, mussels and chips and scampi in the basket. In the summer guests can sit outside in the fresh Cornish air and enjoy some of St Austell Brewery’s best ales and a great selection of wines, or cosy up by our log fires in the colder weather with some comfort food.
