Desserts play a vital part in that journey, and we’re now looking for a talented and motivated Pastry Sous Chef to support our pastry operation and help lead our kitchen team.

What You’ll Be Doing- Supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, with a focus on pastry
- Preparing and producing high-quality desserts, pastries, and baked goods
- Ensuring recipes and specifications are followed
- Overseeing presentation so every dessert leaves the kitchen looking its best
- Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards
- Managing stock control in the pastry section, including ordering, labelling, rotation, and minimising waste
- Training, coaching, and supporting junior members of the kitchen team
- Helping to develop new dessert dishes, specials, and seasonal menu items
- Leading the pastry section during service when required
- Contributing to a calm, professional, and efficient kitchen environment
- Previous experience in a pastry role within a professional kitchen (Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie level)
- A genuine passion for baking, desserts, and high-quality ingredients
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in presentation
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work calmly under pressure
- A positive, can-do attitude and strong team ethic
- Desire to learn, develop, and progress within the kitchen
