A New Chapter Fistral is entering an exciting new era as we evolve into a more drinks-led, social, beach-bar inspired destination. To support this next phase, we’re reshaping our leadership team across both Kitchen and Front of House, and we’re looking for an exceptional General Manager to lead the FOH operation and deliver outstanding guest experiences. As General Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the restaurant, ensuring service standards, team performance, and commercial targets are consistently achieved. You’ll be a visible, hands-on leader who inspires the FOH team, builds strong guest relationships, and works closely with the Head Chef to deliver a seamless, high-quality experience from drinks to dining. This role requires someone with excellent leadership skills, commercial awareness, and a genuine passion for hospitality who can drive operational excellence while fostering a positive and inclusive culture.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead, motivate, and develop the FOH team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Ensure smooth daily operations, including service, reservations, and team scheduling
- Work closely with the Head Chef to coordinate kitchen and FOH operations
- Drive sales, manage labour, and deliver on financial targets
- Maintain compliance with health & safety, licensing, and operational standards
- Recruit, train, and retain talented FOH team members
- Build strong guest relationships and respond effectively to feedback
- Implement systems and processes to enhance efficiency and consistency
- Support the execution of events, specials, and promotions
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a General Manager, Restaurant Manager, or Senior FOH Leader in a quality-led hospitality business
- Passion for hospitality, guest service, and creating memorable experiences
- Strong leadership, coaching, and people-development skills
- Commercial acumen including understanding of P&L, labour management, and KPIs
- Calm, organised, and confident under pressure
- Hands-on leader who leads by example
