We’re looking for a talented and driven Junior Data Analyst to play a key role in transforming how we use data to make smarter business decisions. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the consistency, accuracy, and integrity of our data across multiple operational systems and support in the development of meaningful insightful analysis. This is a full‑time 40‑hour position based in our head office at St Eval. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on problem‑solving, enjoys working collaboratively, and wants to make an impact by improving the way data informs strategy and drives performance.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Managing the day‑to‑day upkeep of the data in core systems, including: Products & promotions in EPOS, Recipes and product catalogues in PW.
  • Supporting and challenging ways of working to ensure a consistent data structure across operational systems (Access, Fourth, Mapal, Alert65).
  • Providing daily reporting and analysis to operations to translate operational and business data into actionable insights.
  • Supporting the preparation of reliable performance forecasting for product performance to enhance both financial and non‑financial decision making.
  • Running regular audits on suppliers and products to ensure data integrity is preserved and managed.
  • Being curious about third‑party data sources to improve insight and enhance decision making.
  • Identifying efficiencies through automation, AI, structure, and governance.

Experience

  • Proven experience in managing system data, ideally within a commercial or operational environment.
  • Strong Excel skills, reporting, and data visualisation (e.g., Power BI, Excel).
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high data quality.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain insights to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and adaptable approach to problem‑solving.
