Responsibilities- Supporting the General Manager in overseeing daily front-of-house operations
- Leading and motivating the team to deliver outstanding guest experiences
- Ensuring all service standards are upheld across the restaurant
- Managing staff rotas, training, and performance development
- Maintaining high standards in food, drink, and service knowledge, and sharing this with the team
- Monitoring guest satisfaction and resolving any issues promptly and professionally
- Working closely with the kitchen and bar to ensure seamless, efficient service
- Driving sales, upselling, and operational performance
- Assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and mentoring of new team members
- Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role in a professional hospitality environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, confident engaging with guests and colleagues
- A genuine passion for food, wine, and exceptional service
- A hands-on, proactive approach with a focus on teamwork and operational excellence
- Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment and lead by example
