A Day in the Life of a Maintenance Assistant:
As a Maintenance Assistant, no two days are ever quite the same. You play a key role in ensuring our hotel runs smoothly behind the scenes, enabling every guest to enjoy a safe, comfortable, and well‑maintained environment. Key responsibilities include routine maintenance such as cleaning and maintaining air‑conditioning units, descaling shower heads and taps, checking lighting and fittings, and carrying out basic repairs. You’ll spot issues before they become problems and maintain high standards across the hotel. You’ll work closely with Housekeeping and Front Office, responding quickly to maintenance‑related requests, and support the Maintenance Technicians and wider team with planned maintenance projects and ongoing improvements. Health and safety will be at the heart of everything you do. You’ll ensure all work is completed safely, equipment is used correctly, and any risks or hazards are reported and addressed promptly.
