Salary: Β£13.70 per hour + excellent benefits
Contract: Permanent, Day shifts available
Shift Pattern: 8:00 to 20:00, Weekend requirement on rota
Responsibilities:- Assisting residents with a high standard of clinical, social and emotional care; recognising and meeting the specific needs of residents.
- Answer emergency bells or calls from residents, assess the situation, respond to residents seeking help, and summon senior care staff when necessary.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including meal preparation, washing, dressing, toileting and personal hygiene as documented in their care plan.
- Help residents with mobility problems, including transferring residents using appropriate equipment and supporting use and care of aids and personal equipment.
- Support residents with a wide range of requirements from companionship to personal care.
- Be part of a team supporting the senior care assistant in monitoring residents and reporting changes.
- Communicate with residents' families, friends and other healthcare professionals.
- DBS check required as part of the recruitment process; Bupa will cover the cost (Β£40).
