Job Overview: We support residents in Richmond Villages, one of our luxury retirement living communities. Residents receive person‑centred care that supports independence and honours choice, enabling them to live their best lives. New staff receive a thorough induction followed by ongoing training and development, including apprenticeships and online learning resources.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with clinical, social and emotional care, recognising and meeting individual needs.
- Answer emergency bells or calls to assess situations, provide assistance and summon senior care staff when necessary.
- Support residents with activities of daily living: meal preparation, washing, dressing, toileting and personal hygiene as outlined in care plans.
- Help residents with mobility and transfer, including using appropriate equipment and caring for aids and personal equipment.
- Provide companionship and personal care for residents with a wide range of requirements.
- Support the senior care assistant in monitoring residents and reporting changes.
- Communicate with residents’ families, friends and other health‑care professionals.
Qualifications: Applicants must complete a DBS check – the cost (£40) is covered by the employer.
