Bank shifts: 1:00 – 15:00 or 10:00 – 14:00

About the role

From setting up for service to welcoming residents into our restaurant, you will be an essential part of delivering an excellent dining experience. You will receive thorough induction, ongoing training and development, access to apprenticeships and Bupa’s online learning portal.

Key responsibilities

  • Set up tables in the restaurant and café.
  • Serve in the restaurant and café at mealtimes.
  • Prepare trays and provide room service to residents who wish to eat in their rooms.
  • Serve drinks at the bar as required (applicable to applicants over 18 years old).
  • Ensure the restaurant and café are tidy and meet all high standards.
  • Keep the kitchen area clean and tidy at all times.
  • Support other areas as required, such as serving meals to or removing trays from residents’ rooms, restocking personal kitchens, or delivering refreshments to other village locations.

Key skills & qualifications

  • You care for others and want to make a real difference.
  • You should have previous customer service experience, preferably in catering or kitchen roles, although training is provided.
  • You are a strong communicator who enjoys working in a close‑knit team with people from all walks of life.
  • You must maintain a clean, tidy, safe and hygienic environment and deliver excellent service to residents.
