Job Description

CQC rating: Good. You'll help us make health happen by:

  • Overseeing and assisting all aspects of nursing care and activities within the home.
  • Creating and updating individual care plans for residents, maintaining clear, accurate and up-to-date medication records.
  • Maintaining correct staffing levels through efficient management of rotas and ensuring adequate staffing is always maintained.
  • Providing day-to-day support and guidance to the team, promoting residents' independence, choice and dignity.
  • Building lasting relationships with the residents and the people they care about, as well as fostering a sense of community.
  • Developing strong relationships with local partners and liaising with them, raising the care home's profile in the area.

Key Skills / Qualifications Needed For This Role

  • A Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin and a genuine commitment to the NMC Codes of Conduct.
  • Understanding of the benefits of high-quality nursing care and a commitment to independence, choice and dignity for residents.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of tissue viability, infection control and care planning.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with residents and their families.

Starter Bonus
