Salary: £20.30 – £22.39 per hour

Contract: 4x 12-hour night shifts per week (48 hours contract)

You’ll Help Us Make Health Happen By

  • Taking responsibility for the well‑being of our residents and ensuring their physical, emotional and social needs are met
  • Coaching and guiding the team, providing formal and informal teaching programmes for colleagues and other care professionals
  • Carrying out assessments and developing, implementing and evaluating individualised care plans for each of our residents
  • Monitoring work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and conform to the relevant standards, policies and legislation

Key Skills / Qualifications Needed For This Role

  • Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin, responsible for managing the unit alongside clinical duties in the home – oversight of care, administering and ordering medication, reviewing and evaluating individual care plans, and providing clinical guidance to the care team and delivering best practice continually.
  • Previous experience ensuring policies and standards are kept to a high clinical standard.
  • Confidence offering clinical guidance for care teams, being crucial in helping with all CQC tasks.
  • Highly trusted member of the team who enjoys building connections with residents and their families, giving them the kindness and support they deserve.
  • Effective communication and reporting skills essential for handover of clinical issues to other team members and health care professionals.
  • Operating at night requires enhanced skills to ensure patient safety as you will be working alone with limited support – strong critical thinking, self‑reliance and calm in emergency situations.
